Daphne Marlatt is known for her formally innovative books of poetry, includingSteveston, Touch to My Tongue, Salvage, andThis Tremor Love Is. She is also the author of two acclaimed novels,Ana Historicand Taken. In addition to being a teacher and editor of numerous literary publications, including The Capilano Review and Tessera, which she co-founded, she has been writer-in-residence at universities across Canada. She lives in Vancouver.
