NEAL ADAMS IS REGARDED AS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT COMIC ARTISTS OF ALL TIME: A hugely influential and popular artist, Adams redefined the way comics were viewed by both fans and creators.

This Artist’s Edition presents Neal Adams’ original artwork scanned at high resolution and in color (though the art appears to be in black and white) so the reader can view pages and covers as close to their natural state as possible, mimicking the look and even the feel of original art.
Neal Adams was born in 1941 and began his career in comics for Archie Comics in 1959. In 1962, Adams was assigned the Ben Casey newspaper comic strip, which ran until 1966. After the strip ended, Adams began freelancing for DC, Marvel, and Warren Publications, among others. In the early 1970s, Neal and partner Dick Giordano formed Continuity Associates, a New York City–based advertising agency that also did occasional comic-related inking jobs (credited as Crusty Bunkers). Continuity would also publish a variety of comics based on characters created by Adams. Neal Adams died in 2022.
