For fans of Lambcat’s enchanting WEBTOON comes a novel adaptation series in the vein of Serena Valentino’s Disney Villains series or the Mariko Tamaki’s Lumberjanes novelization. Delve deeper into the world of the Cursed Princess Club.

Welcome to the world of the Cursed Princess Club where things aren’t quite as they seem.

Gwendolyn is a princess. She lives in a castle, her father is the king, and her siblings love her . . . it sounds like a fairy tale, yet it’s not that simple. Gwen isn’t your typical princess, and she isn’t conventionally attractive. But when she meets the members of the Cursed Princess Club, they help her recognize that not “fitting the mold” doesn’t make her less of a princess.

In this second book of the series, Prince Frederick is beginning to question if he deserves Gwen. She’s been so kind to him, but he hasn’t always been nice to her, and he’s starting to realize that appearances aren’t everything.

Meanwhile, Gwen is introduced to the Princels—princes who have shunned society because of their own insecurities, insecurities she can understand.

With the same charming and delightful heart as the comics, the adventures of Gwendolyn and the other Cursed Princesses continue in this novel series adapted by best-selling author Michelle Knudsen.
Michelle Knudsen is the New York Times best-selling author of more than fifty books for children and young adults, including the award-winning picture book Library Lion, which was selected by Time magazine as one of the 100 Best Children's Books of All Time. Her novels include The Dragon of Trelian (VOYA Top Shelf Fiction for Middle School Readers) and Evil Librarian (YALSA Best Fiction for Young Adults; Sid Fleischman Award for Humor). Michelle also sometimes writes short fiction for adults and was a 2024 BSFA (British Science Fiction Association) finalist for the audio version of her short story “The Pigeon.” Her most recent title is the picture book Luigi, the Spider Who Wanted to Be a Kitten, illustrated by Kevin Hawkes, and her next book will be the middle grade fantasy novel, Into the Wild Magic (Candlewick Press, August 2025). Michelle teaches writing in Lesley University’s low-residency MFA program. She lives in Brooklyn, New York, with three humans, two cats, and one snake.
