Booga, Tank Girl’s husband, is being wooed by Hollywood agents but Tank Girl is missing and his resolve is crumbling, fast! Tele, their TV-headed son, sets out on a mercy dash to find his mother... in the process triggering a chain of events that will see Tank Girl, not only, face death itself, the siren call of Goth rock and a cyclopean hotel proprietor, but also a host of other scenes and characters based on The Odyssey... give or take the odd — ahem — “idiosyncratic” Tank Girl twist. Artist Jamie Hewlett is best known as the visual genius behind the award-winning, virtual pop group Gorillaz. His work includes 2000AD's Hewligan's Haircut, covers for DC, and interior art for Doom Patrol. He cocreated Tank Girl with writer Alan Martin in 1988 for British music and comics magazine Deadline, generating a vibrant body of work that became a series of top-selling graphic novels. He was named Designer of the Year in 2006 by Design Museum.
