"Cartoon-style illustrations in bold, flat colors are most entertaining in the busy crowd scenes of happy tourists on their boats, kayaks, and inner tubes." — SLJ
"Two very different pals navigate a rocky patch [...] Bold, brightly colored illustrations ensure the tender moments never feel too heavy, and the beachfront, vacation-vibes setting lends the tale a similarly playful tone. The simple language and straightforward messaging are ideal for younger readers, who will also appreciate the eye-catching spreads. A sweet and sunny friendship story." — Kirkus Reviews
