Someone has stolen the Book of Destiny, an all-powerful artifact that gives its possessors knowledge of everything that is, was and will be-- enabling them to erase any chance of failure because they know every defense the heroes will mount before they try it!

Now, to retrieve the Book and restore the fabric of reality, Batman and Green Lantern forge unlikely alliances and find themselves in some impossible situations with a galaxy of the DC Universe’s biggest stars. Will they be brave enough to unravel the terrifying plot — and bold enough to stop it before their luck runs out?
Mark Waid, a New York Times best-selling author, has written a wider variety of well-known comics characters than any other American comics author, from Superman to the Justice League to Spider-Man to Archie and hundreds of others. His award-winning graphic novel with artist Alex Ross, Kingdom Come, is one of the best-selling comics collections of all time. View titles by Mark Waid
George Pérez started drawing at the age of five and hasn't stopped since. Born on June 9, 1954, Pérez began his professional comics career as an assistant to Rich Buckler in 1973. After establishing himself as a penciller at Marvel Comics, Pérez came to DC in 1980, bringing his highly detailed art style to such titles as Justice League of America and Firestorm. After co-creating The New Teen Titans in 1980, Pérez and writer Marv Wolfman reunited for the landmark miniseries Crisis On Infinite Earths in 1985. In the aftermath of that universe-smashing event, Pérez revitalized Wonder Woman as the series' writer and artist, reestablishing her as one of DC's preeminent characters and bringing in some of the best sales the title has ever experienced. He has since gone on to illustrate celebrated runs on Marvel's The Avengers, CrossGen's Solus, and DC's The Brave and the Bold. View titles by George Perez
