Parallel to their comics career, Lanzing and Kelly are screenwriters, having worked with directors and producers such as Peter Berg, Akiva Goldsman, John Moore, and Barry Josephson. In 2016 they wrote all 13 episodes of Youtube Red's first animated series, Kings of Atlantis, and wrote the pilot "Holoscape" for Roddenberry Entertainment.
