Basketball champion and global icon LeBron James goes on an epic adventure alongside timeless Tune Bugs Bunny in Space Jam: A New Legacy!
When LeBron and his young son Dom are trapped in a digital space by a rogue A.I., LeBron must get them home safe by leading Bugs, Lola Bunny and the whole gang of notoriously undisciplined Looney Tunes to victory over the A.I.’s digitized champions on the court--a powered-up roster of basketball stars as you’ve never seen them before! It’s Tunes versus Goons in the highest-stakes challenge of his life, one that will redefine LeBron’s bond with his son and shine a light on the power of being yourself. The Tunes destroy convention, supercharge their unique talents and surprise even “King” James by playing the game their own way!
From writer Ivan Cohen (The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries) and an all-star team-up of artists, Space Jam: A New Legacy is the graphic novel adaptation of the animated/live-action movie event!
A prolific writer in comic books and animation, Ivan Cohen has scripted episodes of TEEN TITANS GO! and BEWARE THE BATMAN and is co-writer of THE BATMAN AND SCOOBY-DOO MYSTERIES comic book series for DC Comics. He has also written comics for DC and Marvel featuring the Looney Tunes, Teen Titans Go!, and members of the Justice League and the Avengers, among many others. In 2020, Cohen attracted national press attention with his introduction of the character “Kid Quick” to the DC Universe: a non-binary superhero who would later be established as the future inheritor of the Flash mantle.
Cohen is also the author of multiple children’s books featuring Star Wars, Looney Tunes, Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Avengers. Additionally, he has produced two television documentaries on comic-books and superheroes; and, as a development executive at DC Entertainment, helped launch the ongoing DC Universe line of animated movies and supervised development of TV and movie projects including BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD, RED, and WATCHMEN.
A graduate of Stuyvesant High School and Northwestern University, Cohen lives in Manhattan with his wife and son.
