Don't slow down. Don't get comfortable. Don't think you're safe. Be ready to run. Something sinister lurks in this graphic novel that is part psychological thriller and part horror story.

Abraham Stubbs and his father Noah roam America in a nomadic existence. Convinced they are being pursued by sinister government forces, Noah has them living off the grid, burgling houses to survive. Elsewhere, on Mount Rector, the lone survivor of a climbing expedition staggers homeward, covered in blood. Both are on an inevitable collision course with the picturesque Canadian resort town of Braeriach. Massive storm clouds are brewing. The animals are running. Something else is on its way.

Drawing on elements of psychological drama and horror, Mountainhead is a character driven story with a sinister undercurrent of the monstrous and distinctive visuals that add an uneasy atmosphere to the narrative.

"Buy this book. No ifs, ands or buts. Buy it! I caught a lot of buzz about this book over the last few weeks and while the reality rarely lives up to the hype, I’m delighted to say that on this occasion it really does!" --Big Comic Page

“Hands down, one of the best comic books of the year, mainstream or indie. Lees does a beautiful job of ranging the dialogue--each character is unique, with a voice of their own that belies their characteristics, backgrounds and stations in life. Mountainhead is the perfect example of everything that makes me love indie comic books. Boasting some exceedingly creative panel layouts, riveting story-telling and an across-the-board pleasing look, you’d be greatly remiss not joining Abraham for this suspenseful adventure." --Official Sirens of Sequentials

“Simply gorgeous art, with a gloriously twisting story!” --Ka-POW! Comics Podcast

“Part conspiracy theory part horror the book draws you in with its almost family friendly art and then lets you have it. The creators really have something here and it leaves you wanting more.” --Outright Geekery

"Pure mind-melting terror. Varied and dynamic visuals. Artist Ryan Lee goes all out with some of the most compelling artwork of the year that really brings this story home." --Horror DNA
