The weather is windy and Old Bear isn't thrilled to be outdoors, but Little Bear coaxes him, “Let’s walk a little further.” Then, suddenly, a curious noise catches both of their ears—an old saxophone lying in the alleyway! Nick Maland is an award-winning children’s illustrator. He studied English and Drama at London University and very much wanted to be an actor, but discovered a love for drawing through set design. In addition to numerous children's books, his work has been published with The Times, The Guardian, and The Observer. He lives in England.
