Sometimes a new big sister needs her own hideout with no little kids allowed!

The newest adventure in the bestselling Lola Reads series celebrates hideouts as safe spaces for children to play, imagine, and process emotions independently.

Lola loves playing with Leo and her new baby sister, but sometimes she wants a place for big girls only!

When Lola decides to play by herself, she gathers her supplies and gets to work, pinning up a blanket and string lights to make her hiding place. The hideout is not complete without Lola's precious things: Mary and Dinah and her three favorite books. With Daddy's help, she makes a "Big Girls Only" sign at the door and invites her cousin Hani for a visit. After a sleepover in her hiding place, Lola is ready to re-emerge for family time.

Lola's Perfect Hideout is the eleventh title in the much-loved Lola Reads series, as book-loving Lola continues to be curious about the world around her.
