Hiba Noor Khan has worked as a physics teacher, a TV presenter, and a refugee advocate with the Children’s Society. She is the author of several books for children, including How to Spaghettify Your Dog and One Home: Eighteen Stories of Hope from Young Activists. Her middle-grade historical fiction novel Safiyyah’s War won the Jhalak Children’s and Young Adult Prize and the Indie Book Award for Children’s Fiction. She was commissioned to write Malala as part of the Extraordinary Lives series. She lives in Yorkshire, England.

Singgih Cahyo Jadmiko is an artist with a passion for painting and illustration. He graduated from the Bandung Institute of Technology in 2021 with a major in craft and ceramic design. A Golden Eid is his first picture book. He lives in Indonesia.
