When Alfie’s mom, the ambassador, tells the family that some classified documents have been stolen, it’s up to Alfie, Bonnie, and Baxter to investigate! Surely Mika couldn’t be the spy . . . or could she? Kekla Magoon lives in Vermont with two energetic orange cats who are always up to something (and may very well be spies). She is the renowned author of many books for young readers, including The Secret Library and the Blue Stars graphic novel series, co-written with Cynthia Leitich Smith. Recognitions for her work include a Boston Globe–Horn Book Award, an NAACP Image Award, four Coretta Scott King Honors, and being named a National Book Award Finalist.

Fanny Liem was born and raised in Indonesia. She is the illustrator of several books for young readers, including All Food Is Good Food by Molli Jackson Ehlert and More Than Peach by Bellen Woodard.
