Jean Giraud (1938-2012) was a French cartoonist best known for his work under the name Mœbius. His work features unique sci-fi and fantasy worlds and characters. Some of his better-known works include The World of Edena and Arzach. He’s also well known for his Blueberry series, written under the pseudonym Gir, which was adapted for film in 2004.
