Sara Lozoya was born in 1996 in Madrid. Since she can remember she has always been drawing, whether in notebooks, canvases or school tables. However, despite being clear that she wanted to dedicate herself to the world of illustration, she has never given art classes. In fact, she has been a science girl even in college where she studied Video Game Design and Development.
Everything she knows about art she has been learning in a self-taught way, challenging herself to improve little by little until she transforms what was a hobby into her professional work.
Today, of course, Sara works in two sectors related to art: animation and illustration. On the one hand, she works as a background runner and color key artist at Sunshine Animation Studio where she has participated in the animated trailers for video games such as Blasphemous, CrisTales or TemTem.
On the other hand, as an illustrator she has collaborated with different publishers illustrating all kinds of youth books such as Escuela de Villanos (by Marta Álvarez), Ana de las Tejas Verdes (by Lucy Maud Montgomery), the saga of Los Turboskaters (by César Fernández, Casandra and Bárbara Balbás) or The Return to the White Island (by Laura Gallego), among others. In addition, she is the author of Flashlight, a BL manga that is currently published in Planeta Manga magazine.
