Charles Soule and Ron Garney introduce the artistic serial killer Muse!
Losing a big case lands A.D.A. Matt Murdock in hot water with the city, leaving him less time to clean up the streets as Daredevil. But as his protégé, Blindspot, tries to take up the slack, the young hero gets in over his head when he stumbles on a horrific crime scene — one that will terrify even the Man Without Fear! Muse — a murderer who turns his victims into works of art — is on the loose, and Daredevil and Blindspot are no fans of his “masterpieces.” Everyone’s a critic! Plus: Who has placed a bounty on DD’s head big enough to bring out every contract killer in New York City? Just how did Matt Murdock put his double-identity genie back in the bottle? And can he win the case of his life, in front of the Supreme Court?
COLLECTING: Daredevil (2015) #10-28
Based in Brooklyn, New York, Charles Soule has written novels, comics, screenplays and stories of all types. Also a musician and an attorney, Soule somehow finds time to be one of the busiest writers in comics. Among his Marvel credits are Thunderbolts, She-Hulk and the landmark Death of Wolverine, as well as its immediate follow-up (Wolverines) and its eventual sequel (Return of Wolverine). Soule brought his legal expertise to the pages of Daredevil and assembled a blockbuster squad in Astonishing X-Men. Following solo series starring Darth Vader, Lando Calrissian and Poe Dameron, Soule turned his attention to the iconic rebel crew in a new volume of the flagship Star Wars title, and he was one of the select group of authors chosen to chart the unseen era of the High Republic.
Having begun his career on G.I. Joe, Eisner Award-nominated artist Ron Garney is known for well-received runs on Captain America and Amazing Spider-Man. He has teamed with writer Jason Aaron on Wolverine, Wolverine Weapon X and Ultimate Captain America. Garney has also contributed design work to such films as Will Smith’s I Am Legend and Nicolas Cage’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. His later Marvel work includes Uncanny X-Force and a collaboration with Charles Soule on Daredevil. Garney reunited with Aaron on Thor: God of Thunder and then the creator-owned Men of Wrath for Marvel’s Icon imprint.
Croatian artist Goran Sudzuka is a comic-book artist and illustrator known for his work on Y: The Last Man, Hellblazer: Lady Constantine and Wonder Woman. With writer Jamie Delano, he co-created DC/Vertigo's Outlaw Nation with writer Jamie Delano, which earned him the Russ Manning Award for Most Promising Newcomer at the 2001 Eisner Awards. He has also worked for DC, Delcourt, Image, Marvel and more.
