Creepy tales featuring everybody’s favorite lycanthrope, Werewolf by Night, and more of Marvel’s greatest heroes!

In the black-and-white of night, Jack Russell races to halt the sacrifice of a young girl at the hands of monsters. Elsa Bloodstone, in all her colorful monster-hunting glory, isn’t far behind. But can these old flames put their differences aside long enough to save the day? Speaking of differences, Jack and Moon Knight have clashed before — and a prophecy in the terrifying tome known as the Darkhold will put them at odds once again! To kill a god requires the blood of the Fist of Khonshu — but Moon Knight doesn’t bleed easily! Plus: What horrors await the Werewolf, Elsa, Man-Thing, the Living Mummy and unlikely allies Daredevil, Deadpool, the Human Torch and the Hulk…when Doctor Strange’s spectral brother opens the Crypt of Shadows?

Canadian writer Jed MacKay has built an extensive list of credits at Marvel — including such titles as Edge of Spider-Geddon, Infinity Wars: Ghost Panther, Daughters of the Dragon and Man Without Fear. His career caught fire in 2019 with Black Cat, a character-defining phenomenon. MacKay has built on that success with his highly entertaining take on Taskmaster; a high-profile relaunch of Moon Knight; and Death of Doctor Strange, which led Clea to become the new Sorcerer Supreme in Strange.

Writer Al Ewing began his career on the British anthology 2000 AD. Since breaking into American comics, he has written Jennifer Blood and spin-off series The Ninjettes for Dynamite Entertainment, and the Age of Ultron tie-in issues of Avengers Assemble for Marvel Comics. Ewing’s novels include the Pax Britannia series as well as The Fictional Man. With artist Greg Land, he relaunched Marvel’s Mighty Avengers; for All-New Marvel NOW!, gave the god of mischief a new assignment in Loki: Agent of Asgard. Ewing then took revamped versions of New Avengers and Ultimates, debuted U.S.Avengers; and joined the writing team for the “No Surrender” storyline in Avengers, which brought the Hulk back from the dead. His subsequent titles include Valkyrie, Guardians of the Galaxy, Defenders, the event series Empyre and the critically revered smash hit Immortal Hulk. Ewing has cemented his place in the Krakoan era of the X-Men titles comics with S.W.O.R.D. and X-Men: Red.

After cutting his teeth at Dark Horse drawing Joker/Mask and several Star Wars comics, Spanish artist Ramon Bachs illustrated runs on Wildstorm’s Gen13 and DC’s Detective Comics. He soon brought his gritty style to Marvel, teaming with writer Paul Jenkins on the Decimation limited series Generation M. The pair reunited for the smash hit Civil War: Front Line and teamed again for its sequel, World War Hulk: Front Line. Bachs illustrated the send-up Marvel Apes limited series and has contributed to Ultimate Spider-Man, the adaptation of the hit animated series. His further DC credits include Red Robin and Azrael.

Multitalented Geoff Shaw is a professional sequential artist, sculptor, concept designer and illustrator. He has enjoyed a fruitful professional relationship with writer Donny Cates on God Country for Image Comics and Thanos for Marvel. They renewed their collaboration on Guardians of the Galaxy.
