Celebrated writer Chip Zdarsky puts Peter Parker front and center as all of his unmissable SPIDER-MAN stories are collected in one package! Spidey and his ol' pal the Human Torch learn that the Kingpin is still a force to be reckoned with! The webslinger lands right in the middle of the Tinkerer's family feud! Peter's "sister" returns, J. Jonah Jameson makes a shocking discovery, and they all end up in a world without a Spider-Man - where Norman Osborn reigns supreme! Plus, Zdarsky teams with legend Mark Bagley to tell Peter's life story as if he aged in real time! And what if Spidey never took off the symbiote suit? Collecting PETER PARKER: THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN (2017) #1-6 and #297-310, PETER PARKER: THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN ANNUAL (2018) #1, SPIDER-MAN: LIFE STORY #1-6, SPIDER-MAN: LIFE STORY ANNUAL #1, SPIDER-MAN: SPIDER'S SHADOW #1-5 and material from FREE COMIC BOOK DAY 2017 (SECRET EMPIRE).
Chip Zdarsky became well-known as the artist of the award-winning Sex Criminals and the writer of Kaptara, both from Image Comics. Howard the Duck was his first Marvel series, soon followed by books including Marvel 2-in-One and Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man. Now one of the leading writers in comics, Zdarsky has wowed readers with his Daredevil run; limited series such as X-Men/Fantastic Four, Spider-Man: Life Story and Spider-Man: Spider’s Shadow; and creative covers including his “How to Draw” variants.

The son of industry pioneer Joe Kubert, Adam Kubert has won numerous comics-industry achievement awards — including an Eisner Award and a Wizard magazine award. His landmark runs on Wolverine and Incredible Hulk made him a superstar, leading him to work on X-Men titles including the Marvel Universe-changing Onslaught saga. His subsequent efforts for Marvel include revisiting the world of Logan on Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine and the blockbuster sequel Origin II. Kubert joined the stellar artistic lineup of the event series Avengers vs. X-Men, and his subsequent work includes All-New, All-Different Avengers; Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man; and Captain America. In 2020, he made a triumphant return to his signature character for the Dawn of X relaunch of Wolverine.

Croatian-born artist Goran Parlov’s contribution to the fan-favorite Italian comic series Ken Parker earned him attention overseas, garnering Parlov assignments on the cult classic Outlaw Nation, published by DC Comics, and the sci-fi series Terminator 3: Before the Rise. Parlov joined author Richard K. Morgan on Marvel’s Black Widow: Homecoming, a fast-paced miniseries that returned the character to her espionage roots. Following his success on Punisher, Parlov re-teamed with writer Garth Ennis on Punisher Presents: Barracuda MAX, illustrating a new tale of this unforgettable killer for hire. He collaborated with award-winning author Jonathan Maberry to tell the tale of a dystopian future in which a dangerous pathogen has destroyed human society, turning everyone it touches into murderous cannibals, in Marvel Universe vs. the Punisher.

Hired on the strength of his Official Marvel Tryout penciling submission, Mark Bagley rose to prominence as the artist of 1990s sleeper hit New Warriors. Following an acclaimed run on Amazing Spider-Man, he worked with writer Kurt Busiek on Thunderbolts. When Marvel launched its Ultimate line, Bagley and Brian Michael Bendis led the way with Ultimate Spider-Man, whose years of success made the pair the longest-running creative team in Marvel history. Bendis and Bagley have also collaborated on Avengers Assemble and the creator-owned Brilliant. His subsequent credits include Fantastic Four, Cataclysm: The Ultimates’ Last Stand, Hulk, All-New X-Men and Venom.
