Tyranny and suffering are things of the past, but there is still much work to be done. Paperwork, formal dress fittings, and council meetings clutter Wolfgang’s days when all he wants is to spend time with Soohyuk. Their childhood friendship has blossomed into something more intense, with frenzied heat and uncertain glances, yet as they grow closer they somehow seem to understand each other less.
Beyond the palace walls, there is unrest in the kingdom, despite its benevolent new king. Old wounds have been left to fester, and an ancient promise is about to come due.
