DC’s popular Absolute Universe line is expanding yet again with the recently announced Absolute Green Arrow. The six-issue miniseries was announced during the “DC All In: What’s Next” panel at SDCC and is set to debut in Spring 2026. It will join the ranks of the successful line-up including Absolute Batman, Absolute Superman, and Absolute Wonder Woman—which just won the Eisner Award for “Best New Series.”
Absolute Green Arrow will be written by Pornsak Pichetshote (The Good Asian) and drawn by Rafael Alburquerque (American Vampire). The mini-series will deal with the fallout of DC’s upcoming Absolute Evil event. “You’ve seen these powerful, rich people on the outskirts of the Absolute Universe… now for the first time, they’re actually meeting”, says Pichetshote. In the Absolute Universe, Queen is a billionaire who will be inspired by this event to act differently—more heroically—than the other billionaires. He will debut in October’s Absolute Evil one-shot.
