Last week, Netflix dropped the official teaser for the long-awaited fifth and final season of Stranger Things. The two and a half-minute teaser shows off a ton of action featuring the beloved cast of characters, new and returning creatures from the upside-down, and more than a few moments that has fans wondering who will make it out of this series alive.

Synopsis:
The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.
Stranger Things 5 will drop on Netflix this year on three separate dates. The first volume releases November 26th, with volume two arriving a month later on Christmas Day, December 25th. Both volumes will be followed up by the series finale on New Year’s Eve, December 31st. But eager fans don’t have to wait until November to get their fill of Hawkins and its memorable cast of characters.
