The blockbuster duo of writer Jonathan Hickman (Ultimate Spider-Man) and Greg Capullo (Batman) will pit Wolverine against a cadre of foes who will turn his world upside down. Expect to see fan-favorite villains and (sometimes allies) including Sabretooth, Omega Red and, of course, Deadpool in the new five issue mini-series, WOLVERINE: REVENGE.
Just in time for ol’ Canucklehead’s 50th anniversary comes this epic no holds barred adventure that’s likely to be the most sought after comic series in August and beyond. This is a dream team of creators working on Logan, including Capullo’s celebrated return to the House of Ideas after many years away.
Plus, if this pairing and the promise of fan-service carnage wasn’t enough, the series will offer its own Red Band edition similar to what Marvel is currently providing fans with its current Blood Hunt event series. WOLVERINE: REVENGE — RED BAND EDITION will be polybagged for the “protection of innocent eyes”. These special editions will have exclusive pages of content (and yes, the violence factor will be turned up to berserker levels).
