Penguin Random House Publisher Services (PRHPS) yesterday announced a multi-year sales and distribution agreement with Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group (WWBG), the publishing company encompassing the diverse fiction imprints of Wattpad Books, W by Wattpad Books, and Frayed Pages x Wattpad Books, plus the electrifying graphic novels of WEBTOON Unscrolled. Beginning September 1, 2024, PRHPS will sell and distribute the entire WWBG frontlist and backlist across all sales channels worldwide.
Formed in 2019 as Wattpad Books before evolving into the Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group with the launch of Wattpad WEBTOON Studios, WWBG publishes over 40 new titles a year and has quickly developed a stellar backlist. From hits like True Beauty by Yaongyi, The Falling by Anna Todd, Night Shift by Annie Crown, Float by Kate Marchant, and Everything Is Fine by Mike Birchall, the breadth of WWBG’s catalog has won over fans across the globe.
