As announced on Kodansha USA’s website and socials, Makato Yukimura – creator of the Viking epic Vinland Saga – will be making his U.S. in-person debut at Comic-Con International San Diego 2023 on July 20-23, 2023. Kodansha USA will host the acclaimed creator throughout the event, including at their booth #5542.

Vinland Saga is an epic action manga perfect for fans of Game of Thrones – it’s a story of war, royal intrigue, suspense and revenge set against the Viking invasions of England. The series continues to pull in American comics fans and manga readers alike.
All 13 volumes are available in print – as hardcovers collecting two volumes of the original Japanese release. And starting this November, Kodansha will also be releasing the series in premium collector’s hardcovers – each collecting three volumes of the original Japanese release. There’s also an anime adaptation streaming on Netflix and Crunchyroll.
