In the spirit of Shin Godzilla and Shin Ultraman before it, Shin Kamen Rider is a modern reboot of manga legend Shotaro Ishinomori’s classic tokusatsu hero. Originally created in 1971, the original Kamen Rider is Takeshi Hongo, a man given extraordinary powers by an evil organization called shocker, who escapes them and uses his new abilities to fight against them as a masked, motorcycle riding superhero. The original series started a franchise that has endured and continues in TV shows, manga, and comics to this day!
