One of the most exciting surprises at the D23 Expo this past weekend was the announcement and trailer drop for Marvel’s “Special Presentation” of Werewolf by Night. The trailer presents this one-shot coming to Disney+ on October 7th as a Hammer Horror style approach that looks uproariously fun.
Werewolf by Night is led by Gael Garcia Bernal (Mozart in the Jungle) as Jack Russell, and his titular alter ego, plus Laura Donnelly in an unnamed role but one potentially very familiar with comics fans.
Other famous Marvel monster Man-Thing is in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo within the trailer along with the now familiar Time Variant Authority (TVA from Loki) who are wielding their batons and hunting someone or something.
