The Main Man returns! More outrageous, violent, and wildly unpredictable than ever in this next volume of Lobo’s cult-favorite adventures.

Lobo is back, and business is booming.

The galaxy’s most notorious bounty hunter continues his unruly run of chaos, taking on jobs that no one else would survive, and causing just as much destruction along the way. Whether he’s battling demons, dodging rivals, or chasing his next payday, Lobo does it all with maximum attitude and zero restraint.

Packed with explosive standalone stories, this collection delivers a mix of dark humor, sci-fi action, and over-the-top mayhem, capturing the energy that made Lobo one of DC’s most unforgettable antiheroes.

Collects Lobo #10-40, Lobo Annual #3, Lobo/Deadman: The Brave and the Bald #1, Lobo/Demon: Hellowe’en #1, Lobo: Bounty Hunting for Fun & Profit #1, Lobo: Chained #1, Lobo: Death & Taxes #1-4, Lobo: Fragtastic Voyage #1, Lobo: I Quit #1, Lobo Goes to Hollywood #1, Lobo’s Big Babe Spring Break Special #1, Lobo Gallery: Portraits of a Bastich #1, and Showcase ’95 #9.
Alan Grant was a celebrated Scottish comics writer best known for his influential runs on Batman, Detective Comics, Judge Dredd, and Lobo. Alongside collaborators such as John Wagner and Norm Breyfogle, Grant helped redefine Batman in the late 1980s and 1990s, co-creating iconic characters including Victor Zsasz, the Ventriloquist, and Ratcatcher. His sharp blend of dark humor, social satire, and explosive action made Lobo one of DC’s defining cult hits of the era. Beyond superhero comics, Grant earned acclaim for Judge Anderson, Strontium Dog, and environmentally themed creator-owned work. Over the course of his career, Grant received multiple Eisner Award nominations and remains recognized as one of the defining voices in modern British and American comics storytelling.

Keith Giffen would wonder why you’re interested in reading about Keith Giffen. But since you’re already here, Keith provided either plotting, scripting, breakdowns, pencils, or any combination thereof for titles such as All-Star Comics, Legion of Super-Heroes, Justice League International, Annihilation, Doom Patrol, Ragman, The Creeper, Lobo, Suicide Squad, The Defenders, The Heckler, Hero Squared, O.M.A.C., 52 (hold on, deep breath), Countdown to Final Crisis, 52 Aftermath: The Four Horsemen, Midnighter, and, um, um…oh, Ambush Bug! Don’t forget Ambush Bug!

Aside from his sharp wit, he was a man who always appreciated a good cup of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee. As a matter of fact, he didn’t even want to live anywhere unless a Dunkin’ Donuts was within walking distance.

In true Keith fashion, he would not want his passing to be mourned. His last social media post was “I told them I was sick…Anything not to go to New York Comic Con. Thanx. Keith Giffen 1952-2023.”

Featuring artwork from Val Semeiks (The Spectre, Conan the Barbarian), Carl Critchlow (2000 AD), Martin Edmond (Lobocop), Alex Horley (Lobo Unbound), Jim Balent (Catwoman), and more, this collection captures the anarchic visual energy that defined Lobo’s rise in the 1990s. From grotesque sci-fi action and explosive satire to hyper-detailed violence and dark humor, these artists helped shape the Main Man into one of DC’s most outrageous and visually distinctive antiheroes.
