Barbara Gordon takes control of her future in this vital origin story, now available in DC’s bestselling Compact Comics format!
As the Dynamic Duo of Batman and Robin swoops across the skyline of Gotham City, another masked avenger suddenly appears. Untested but stubbornly resilient, Batgirl doesn’t take orders from the Dark Knight, the Boy Wonder, GCPD detective James Gordon, or anyone else. Told with timeless panache and wit by writers Scott Beatty and Chuck Dixon (Robin: Year One) and illustrated by the dynamic duo of Marcos Martin (Daredevil, The Private Eye) and Alvaro Lopez (Catwoman), Batgirl: Year One chronicles the early days of Batgirl as she slowly shapes her legacy.
